Three days past Christmas, We arrived back at the bay, through the storms and the traffic, looking forward to our stay. When what to our wondering eyes did appear, new visions of hardscapes to close out the year. Five new steps, flat spaces, fresh gravel's been laid, and pieces to a puzzle, for a stone wall that's been made. Enjoying the season, hearing music with bells and with harps, we raise a glass for a toast, to say thanks to the Sharps!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you both, and your crew!
Janet & Jerry,
When I moved from Ontario to B.C., I was faced with the daunting task of bringing order to chaos in my front and back gardens. Rebecca and Jay turned what had seemed like a steep climb up a mountain into the equivalent of a gentle stroll through a meadow. They removed dilapidated sheds, got rid of a smelly water feature and rebuilt an old pergola. They pruned trees and replaced overrun flower beds. Their outstanding knowledge of plants, colour and design and their invaluable suggestions and advice resulted in a garden which is admired by all those who come to visit me. Their maintenance crews are friendly and hard-working. Above all, the sunny personalities of Rebecca and Jay make them a joy to work with.Barbara Pritchard, Parksville
The Sharp Landscape Design Group has helped me to meet my goals of a safe backyard for my grandchildren, a beautiful patio to enjoy my view and a maintenance free yard to give me the time to do so! From the initial planning sessions where Jay listened carefully to my wish list, to the daily labours of Dean and Chris, to the plantings by Rebecca, I always felt that this team was highly professional, organized, and committed to giving me, the client, exactly what I wanted, even when I didn’t know for sure what that was! Attention to detail, ideas and inspiration, courtesy, cleanliness, reliability are all words I would use to describe my experience with Jay and his team.Jacqueline Haycock,
What can you say about a company that helps make dreams come true? When we built our Country French style house we envisioned our back yard area being landscaped to resemble the gardens of Provence or Tuscany. This would require some pretty specific plantings. My wife had dreamt of such a garden for years and had accumulated many pictures and articles relative to her dream. When she met with Rebecca Sharp, she found a talented professional who is personable, enthusiastic, takes time to listen and produces creative, detailed working plans. When we realized the scope of the work in planting, mulching and completing the irrigation system, we opted to contract the work to Rebecca and Jay of The Sharp Design. Did they ever come through for us! They are knowledgeable professionals and the quality of staff they hire reflects this. Beyond this, they are friendly and personable and we now regard them as friends.Lionel Daneault and Kathy Vaughan (French Creek),
